This test measures your lung function and is used to diagnose airway diseases like ASTHMA & COPD.This test also tells us about your lung age ( how fast your lung function is declining according to your age,fitness and smoking habits) thereby giving us an opportunity to diagnose smoking related lung disease like COPD and intervene early

Video Bronchoscopy– Bronchoscopy involves passing a narrow tube through your airways (windpipe and bronchial tree) under local anesthesia and collecting fluid and tissue biopsy.Helps in diagnosing lung infections like T.B, Pneumonia and Lung Cancer

Thoracoscopy.- The lungs are surrounded by a thin layer of tissue called pleura .In disease states this test helps in collecting pleural fluid and pleural biopsy to diagnose infection and cancer. It can also be utilised for therapeutic interventions like pleurodesis (occluding two layers of pleura to stop recurrent collection of fluid around lungs )

Polysomnography (Sleep study ). Snoring is identified as a risk factor for hypertension,heart disease and stroke apart from work place accidents due to dozing off during day.Obesity is often associated with snoring and obstructive sleep apnea(OSA) .Untreated this can result in poor quality of life and disturbed personal and social relationships. Sleep study is utilised to diagnose OSA and assess its severity & need for CPAP therapy.

CPAP & BIPAP are positive airway pressure devices used to treat OSA & COPD respectively
